MEDELLIN

Took a trip down to Colombia to visit Medellin and some regional towns in Antioquia.

While in Medellin we headed up into what is known as Commune 13, which is the former stomping grounds of the most dangerous drug lords in perhaps all of South America. 30 years ago if you went here you wouldn’t get out alive. Today you can simply stroll up on foot, have a beer and a paleta.

Amazing transformation in less than a generation.
